Wondering how to tell your parents?

This is a common question. You may be nervous about how your parents would react to the news of your pregnancy.

Everyone’s parents are different. However, parents may initially be disappointed but often become more supportive than you may expect. Your parents could become your biggest ally.

This is big news. Plan to have a conversation when you and your parent(s) have time to talk and aren’t already upset or really stressed about something. And probably not too late at night either so they’re not really tired.

Estar embarazada puede ser algo emocionante, que de miedo o abrumador – especialmente si crees estar embarazada y tu intención no era quedarte embarazada en este momento. Incluso si sientes como si tu mundo estuviera un poco fuera de control, hay personas que pueden ayudarte a saber si estás embarazada o no, y a mirar tus opciones.

La señal más común de estar embarazada es la falta de la menstruación. Sin embargo, esta señal puede ser confusa si tus periodos son irregulares.

¿Te preguntas cómo decírselo a tus padres?

Esta es una pregunta común. Puede que estés nerviosa sobre cómo reaccionarán tus padres ante la noticia de tu embarazo.

Todos los padres son diferentes. Sin embargo, los padres inicialmente pueden estar decepcionados, pero a menudo se vuelven más solidarios de lo que puedes esperar. Tus padres podrían convertirse en tu mayor aliado.

Esto es una gran noticia. Planea tener una conversación cuando tú y tus padres tengáis tiempo para hablar y no estén molestos o realmente estresados por algo. Y probablemente no demasiado tarde por la noche, para que no estéis cansados.
