It’s hard to know what to do and what your options are after a sexual assault. Please know that you’re not alone.

If you or someone you know has been assaulted, get help. If you feel unsafe or are in immediate danger, call 911.

If you are a victim of rape or a sexual assault, go to the nearest emergency room that provides care for sexual assault victims. They can provide you with a full evaluation, testing for infections, medication to prevent sexually transmitted infections and pregnancy and emotional support and care.
